The Grove provides accommodation, 24-hour nursing care, all meals, laundry, heating and electricity, entertainment and activities. Although The Grove is predominantly for care of the over 65’s there are exceptions. If the person has an age related illness, The Grove is registered to take residents under the age of 65.

Yes, absolutely. Every individual has the choice of where they want to live and individuals are able to move care homes, if they are not happy where they are. Give us a call and we’ll always be able to talk you through the process.

This is when the local authority agrees to fund the care of the resident but The Grove may cost more than the local authority’s contribution meaning the resident is required to pay the rest.

In England a contribution is currently £108.70 per week is available to anyone who is assessed as requiring nursing care (including privately funded residents). Residents will need to be assessed and therefore have to contact their GP or health authority.
