The Grove prides itself on offering a friendly care environment whilst practising a high quality of care for individuals with specialised needs including stroke patients, those with partial paralysis, dementia, reduced mobility, and loss of speech and swallowing reflex. We don’t just provide care; we celebrate the person.
Specialist Nursing Care
We visit every prospective client, either at their home or at hospital, to conduct a pre-admission assessment in order to fully understand each person’s individual capabilities and needs.
We consider everything from medical and physical conditions, to religious affiliation and even a favourite dessert.
Clean Living
We not only work to the standards set by the local council but try always to raise the bar beyond that.
Staff Training
Training is an ongoing process at The Grove Care Home. Skin relief, for example, is also taken seriously, and where necessary, all bed patients are turned every two hours.
Apart from that there are regular in-house training sessions involving all members of staff.

Due to the cost saving exercises within the Local Authority and NHS, individuals and families are not always presented with all the available options for care homes; remember, it is your choice which care home you or your loved one go to and just because a care home isn’t presented as an option to you, does not mean that you cannot secure a place in your preferred care home.
